Western North Carolina offers hundreds of miles of native and stocked trout waters.

In most of these trout streams and rivers you can catch all three types of trout; brook, rainbow, and brown.

Back Country Fishing If you’re looking for a challenge, then test your skill on the elusive native mountain trout. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is home to one of the last wild trout habitats in the Eastern United States.

Oconoluftee River
Little Tennessee River

Due to the nature of back country fishing, only select tackle may be provided. Please discuss your needs and skill level at the time you book your trip. Back country fishing and hiking can be strenuous at times.
